Ok so I was cleaning the throttle body on my 06 envoy i6 and I touched a plastic line that snapped. It was very brittle I assume from heat. I have no idea what it does. It comes from the cab through the firewall right next to a relay. It then travels behind the beauty shroud and goes along the head then enters the intake. Any idea or do I need pics?

It doesn't go into the cab either, it disappears behind the coolant tank.

IIRC that goes to a valve on the firewall that turns coolant flow on and off going to the rear heater core depending upon hvac settings. Vacuum supply to a vacuum operated valve. That's if it is indeed an xl.
agreed, that fact that this hose is there indicates a LWB and need's replacing for proper operation.

while waiting for your replacement you may be able to slip both ends into a small piece of rubber tubing.
