Hello,
I'm new to this forum and was wondering if i could get a little insight into mpg from other owners. I just purchased this 2012 GMC Sierra 1500k SLE. It has the 5.3L Vortec V8 which is pretty stock. Only changes that I can see that have been made are a 2 inch lift and it is rolling on 20 inch rims. I haven't taken the time to see the exact make of tires but I will. They are yokahama's. Right now I am getting 15 mpg. Is that pretty standard? Should I expect more? Can aftermarket rims and tires really make a difference. I have friends that say I should be getting 18-20 mpg. I drive 15 miles to work and 13 of it is freeway. Is 15 the best I can expect. Thanks for the help and this forum seems really awesome! View attachment 30321
