Have been having an issue with misfire, particularly the #1 cylinder. I ordered a full set of plugs (ac Delco, I did my research) and wires. Of course, the normally speedy RockAuto shipping took over a week, so had to leave for a long weekend out of town before I could do the job.

Was towing the boat about 4 hours to Northern Michigan, and started having Torque go crazy on the misfires, I was over 11,000 by the time I got her. Luckily, where we are has plenty of tools so I stopped and grabbed a sparkplug on the way. Surprisingly, the job went pretty painlessly and after a bit of idling in the driveway showed no signs of additional misfire.

Here's a pic of the old plug after 130,000 miles, what do you think, needed replacement?

Figure on doing the rest next week and also all the wires.

Definitely needed replacement. The iridium tip is all gone.

Towed th boat an hour to the lake and back, not a single misfire. It's nice when things go right. I'm sure something else will pop up on the 4 hour drive home today.
