I went through Autolumination.com. All of the dome lights, footwell light, glove box light and license plate lights are 194. The cargo light is a 212. The vanity lights are 74.

Looks good dude! I so need to do the vanitys.

Thanks man!

When you go to do them, I do have a suggestion. Pull the fuse for the vanity lights, I believe it's #40. Once you unclip the plastic around the mirror, slide out the mirror to have access to the mires/fixtures. Then take a small (tiny) screwdriver, like the kind for eyeglasses (thinner than a toothpick) and push the bulb out from the back. I tried pulling the bulbs out the first time, and broke them. The second time, by pushing them out from the back, it was smooth sailing.:wootwoot:

Looks awesome!!!

Question about the license plate lights...

I ordered and installed some a while ago from Jetttstream. They worked GREAT...for about a year...then the leads had no spring left in them and they were out half the time. How did these #194's fit and do you think the leads seems well...springier?? I guess I don't know how else to ask the question.

I ended up putting the originals back in, but if these are tight, literally and descriptively, I'd take a gander.

Oh, also, do you remember how much $$??

These are called the 'Fatman' and have 18 SMT LEDs per bulb. In my TrailBlazer, there is a 'dome' light above every door, and one in the cargo area as well. The ones above the doors take 2 'bulbs' each. There is a bulb under the steering column and one in the glove box, and the two above the license plate. All of those bulbs are the 194. The one in the cargo area is a 212. That one has 3 SMT LEDs in it, but they face one side, and are a lot larger, so that one is pretty bright too.

That is twelve (12) white 194 bulbs with 4 more on the way. Two for the mirror turn signals and two for the front/side turn signals. I do not want any amber light on this vehicle. Only white and red. Once I get that locked down, then it's on to HIDs... eventually.:undecided:

My next project is some puddle lights and another, special LED project that I've been working on that will be revealed at a later date.

I've tried the New 25 Led SMT Tower III 194 and the Fatman 194, both made by Autolumination.com (both $10.99 each), and they both fit okay, but you have to take off the lenses that would normally cover the bulbs. Not a problem here in Florida, but some of you guys up North may want to try the smaller bulbs that will fit in the stock housing. They both seem like they would keep their... springiness, if that's a word. The fatman is a little thicker, so it might work out better for you. I will post some pics in a little bit.

The mirrors were a pain at first, but after I figured out that I could take the bulb out from the back, it was really easy. The traditional bulbs in the vanity lights are very hard to get a grip on, due to the way the fixture is designed. I pulled the fuse, took a tiny screwdriver and poked the bulb out from the back. Piece of cake.:wootwoot:
