hp tuners

    hey is there any guys out there that are using hp tuners on their 4.2l or are you guys just having a shop tune your ecus for you?

    I think one or two people have it, they're no longer active as far as I know. And I'm pretty sure the two places we send them off to use hptuners if that helps any.

    A former member, a good friend of mine is running his TB as well as his wife's with HPtuners.

    There are several around that use HPTuners. PCMofNC uses it and I believe Limeswap uses it as well.

    Yep, done a few. Key things with P12s are reduce torque management turn on powertrain enrichment

    so really there is not a lot of guys here that tune their own stuff. you go on the full size sites and everyone is a professional tuner. lol

    I started with deleting the torque management as that is pretty standard between all the gm vehicles. what is a good rpm to bring the pe in at. I believe it is set at 8000 rpm from factory

    We have full sized vehicles here as well. Most of us are more technical and more of an Auto enthusiast and rather do it the best way we can.
