How to attach a movie file?

I would like to attach 2 short video clips to a thread that I would like to start. They were taken with an iPhone and are in iPhoto.
When I use manage attachments and select the clips from my laptop, I get an invalid file message after clicking upload. The format is .mov.
Is this not supported on the forum?

Don't think we support hosting the video files here on-site, which is what you need to make them an attachment. Get them hosted elsewhere like Youtube, then use the video file insertion function.
