Bought my TB in Sept 2012 with 149,000. Right now I have 173,560.

Just took the family on vacation for the past two weeks. Started in SC. Went to DC, Philadelphia, NYC, Niagara Falls, Hershey Park and back home.

2500 mile trip and my truck performed flawlessly.

Mine's an '06, bought it in August 2011 with roughly 85,000 miles on it. As of today, I have about 105,200 miles on it.

I bought my 08' TB in July 09' w/30K and my plan is to keep it for another 5 years, it's got 90k on it and I figure it's got another 90k in it. It does everything I need it to do in stock form, so why mess with something that works? I'm curious, are you guys rebuilding your Inline 6's or getting a good long life out of them with general maintenance? Any major problems like blown head gaskets etc to keep an eye out for? I'm not terribly concerned just wondering what your experiences have been.

Also, I understand this engine was designed by Isuzu, is that correct? I know GM has been in bed with them for years but I didn't know they used their engines and rebadged them Vortec. Again, just wondering, waaaaay too late to change my mind about the purchase! LOL

2008 Ascender , right around 75000 miles. Just had the tranny fluid and filter and rear end gear oil changed today . Should be good till 150000 now. I have great hopes seeing how many miles some of you have . The body will probably rust out before the mechanicals crap out . Only a minor emissions issue so far . Still on the original brakes , never had a vehicle that went anywhere near as long on brakes, and they still feel pretty good at this point .

I dont think the engine is a Isuzu designed engine, think it's all GM . They used it in the Ascender which I have .

02 Envoy at just below 169000. She will hit it this weekend. I've done all maintenance except power steering cooler myself since I bought her in 2011 with 147000. I don't plan on getting rid of her ever. The rust from these Ohio winters in also becoming an issue for me

Purchased my Trailblazer in August of this year with 205,469 miles and a blown engine. It's currently got 207,765 on the body and 64,956 on the engine. One of my customers has a Trailblazer with over 400k miles and only on his 2nd engine!

I bought my 2004 Envoy Xl in 2007 with 36k miles on it. IT now has almost 220k miles on it and still runs strong and outside of a few interior bulbs, everything works fine. Even the original radio. Although over the years I have had to deal with ..

1 transmission
1 batter
1 alternator
1 fuel pump
2 full sets of tires as I am on my third
2 full tunes up
fluid swaps
brake jobs
oil changes and all filters
2 round trip family trips from Jersey to Disney
1 guys weekend to Daytona
countless soccer games

And no thoughts of letting her go just yet (watch I just jinxed myself)

4176 I think. 2004 Envoy. It was rolled over when pretty new. Someone bought the wreck to use for parts for his wife's TB. 322,000 miles later the wife's car didn't really need the parts so he sold it to me. The guy kept it inside and started it regularly, etc. I've had it about a month now. It will now donate its drivetrain and some electronics to a '37 La Salle street rod, where I hope it lives indefinitely.
