Those are for the grill/crossbar, right?

Strange that they are labeled as bumper cover fasteners, since the cover doesn't use those at all!

Yup they're for the grill/crossbar. These fasteners are also used on a couple other GM's, so maybe they're used on the bumpers of most of them perhaps? Who knows? GM as we know can be stupid when it comes to certain things.
