DIY – Illuminated Sills

Step one.
Pull panel fasteners out under driver and passenger dash.

Step two. (Thanks to “stickypoop”)
Under driver side:
Pull white clip out of BCM and tap into the gray/black wire. (In pic red arrow is pointing to a wire behind the orange one. That will be the Gray and Black one)
Run one lead down and around to driver kick panel.
Then run a second lead toward passenger kick panel (ran it under dash).
Tap both of these leads into the above gray/black wire.
Secure the tap.

Step three.
Both leads are positive so don’t plug the white back into the BCM yet.
Hook the red lead on the driver sill to driver wire from BCM and then hook the black wire to ground.
Hook the yellow lead on the passenger side to the BCM lead and then black to ground as well.
Now with all leads secure and all wires hidden, finish reinstalling all panels.

Step four.
Install passenger dash back in and fasteners.
Now with driver side left, plug the white plug back into BCM and reinstall the driver lower dash.
Finished!
