kinda went thru it quickly, maybe i missed it, how the hell did the frog get in the headlight?
is it still there?
Thanks  I don't know how he got in there, was there when I purchased my TB. Shortly after I bought new headlight assemblies, but I still have that old pair hanging around just for laughs

**Edit, got any pics?
Yeah I used to back when I first got it, no idea how it could of occurred, no signs of it ever being a flood vehicle. I quickly bought new headlights lol. The pic is one the first page

Haha my bad man, must have scanned right past it. Thats pretty crazy though. I have had a moth somehow get inside of my headlight housing, but that frog looks huge.

Dude I've got a moth stuck in this one now, all the way in the inside corner of the turn signal part of the headlight assembly. Idk how that bastard even got in there, it's a big moth too. :duh:

I had to take my headlight housing off of the truck, turn it upside down, and shake violently to get the damn moth out.

I think I had the dust cover off of the low beams which is probably how the moth got in there.

I can't have the back dust covers on with the HID ballast wiring

Some bulbs are also made with a special rubber grommet on the wires, would work perfect on the TB headlights. I would send you the ones I have but I had to butcher them to get the wire going to the bulb out because all of the extra crap like that wasn't needed on the stang.

Might just do that, haven't bothered at this point because nothing has gotten in my headlights until last month. Just the right one.

Yea it's easy to install hid lights while keeping the dust caps. Here is a mock up of mine before I plugged everything in...

The plug itself ypu see off to the right side will just plug in like normal under the cap and everything is all nice and sealed.

But whats with all the smoke on your first pass in the vid? I didnt have the volume on on the work computer and it didnt look like you were burning out?

I'm gonna make holes in the dust caps and rig em up like in that picture.

Was using my phone to record, tires were for sure screeching, left a nice long skid mark.

Yea it's really simple. Just make an "X" cut first, then trim accordingly until it fits flush and voila lol...

And yea that makes sense now. I'll have to listen whwn im off so I can turn the volume up lol

Finally got around to repairing some of the failed LEDs I did not too long ago. At first I swapped out resistors, but no difference. The LEDs & Resistors crapped out altogether I guess. Swapped everything out and decided to try out Purple since I ran outta Green, although it's hard to tell it's purple from my phone

So what's new? what the latest?
LEDs on the rear wiper control went out again. Still working on headlight controls so far. I'll be buying from another vendor next time, and getting 4.8mm wide angle LEDs next time. Probably Violet again along with Green.

Timeline Continued:

30 November 2014: I apologize for the late update

Finally got a weekend free to head up to BlazingTrails (Brandon), and we gutted the cat, tricked the ole o2 Sensor, put in the corvette servo, swapped out transmission pans, and also switched out some resistors on LEDs I had done a while back that failed.

Took this nice video of the exhaust with my new GoPro, sounds great if I do say so myself

I started to mention that but didn't in fear that it was yours lol.

That shop just globbed that shit on there, looks like chewed up gum. I haven't mig welded yet in my welding class but I'd bet I could do better than that on my first try. Hell, I could stick weld it better than that. :rotfl:
