Hi there!

I have been readying here for sometime now but i have not found an answer to my question.

I need to replace my Envoy 2004 6cyl BUMP STOPS. I have been looking for that part on eBay and on Amazon and i can not find it.

Anyone knows where can i buy it on-line? Part number?

Thx, Ed

That's because it's a GM OEM part only. No aftermarket replacement. GM 15159697. Under $20 list price at the dealer even.

Thanks for the reply. 15159697 is the right part. When i search for 15159697 i am told that 15159697 has been replaced by 10386223. I have not been able to confirm if 10386223 measures exactly the same as 15159697. I do not want to buy a part that is not as tall as the original one.

Can you post a link to a site that says 15159697 was superceded by 10386223? I'm not finding it in my searches. One of the sites I trust is parts.nalleygmc.com, and they list 15159697 as being valid for all years. I would trust that data, and even if GM redesigned it (probably with a different material, not size) for better lifetime, it's not like you're going to still be worrying about this in ten years. And it's not that expensive, anyway.

You are right, that website has part 15159697 available or at least does not mention that will ship a different one. One problem tough, I do live in Puerto Rico and they charge $40 for shipping. This can ship for less than $15 in a USPS large flat rate box, maybe they do not use USPS. I might be asking a friend of mine leaving in NY buying it for me with free shipping and then shipping to me.

Two of the sellers that switch the part to 10386223 is gmpartseast.com and gmpartsdirect.com.

I believe that part no 15039397 might work for me, that one in on eBay.

Local dealer will charge a lot more.
