Alignment after being lifted?

So after I lifted the truck, the alignment was okay enough to drive on until I started to have suspension issues and had to replace most of the components and flip the UCAs. (Both side LCAs, Uppers, Tie Rods, All BJs, Axles, AWD Disconnect and seals for axles)

I also had to replace the LCAs and those are reponsible for a big part of the alignment as I am now dragging tire down the street.

I have asked over 4 places and brought it to one GMC dealer that said that they could do it. Told me the rack was broken and that they drove it across the way to another dealer to align it and said my frame is shifting and I am missing bolts! Ummmm, you drove it when I towed it there for why after I said it was really far off?

I found a place that specializes in frame straightening/alignments to help me out, but worst case, how can I adjust the lower control arms myself in the parking lot, or possibly do a backyard alignment in the parking lot of the GMC dealer just to avoid towing it another 30 miles for no reason.

Look at Offroadtb.com for one of the threads about a DIY alignment. Couple sticks and a tape measure. Not too hard.

I believe I found it after some digging and word play in the search bar they didn't make it easy if anyone ever needs a reference.

What baffled me that I had to find in another thread was the LCA adjustment. Apparently the right way to get it into spec and start off the caster adjustment is to pry the rear of the LCA all the way out to angle the LBJ better.

Damn...It had been awhile since that was posted I guess.

To think 7 years ago o decided to bounce the truck off rocks as an alignment tool...

I do think if you shove the LCA all the way out and then get the toe close you will be fine to drive as long as it takes you to get over to get it aligned.

Heh. Yeah i remember putting it against a curb and yanking.

Got it aligned at a specialist place that works on big trucks.
