Airbag conversion

I am ready to swap springs for air bags and planned to keep 1 yo shocks. Now I am reading in places that I should replace those with shorter shocks to keep the springs in. True?

It shouldn't be a problem. My Saab was converted to springs and the shocks looked original. No problem here.

Ha! DangTollkeeper, I need to hire a proof reader! Airbags to springs. I spent too many hours searching for this info. Must have been a bit goofy.
