AC setting backwards

Got a weird one that I'm finally getting sick of. I've replaced all of my drivers side mode actuators and ended up having to replace my digital climate control itself due to it dying.

I got a remanned unit from the bay that works great, except, when I have it on auto, it blows to the floor and defrost, rather than the floor and face. If I switch the mode to floor and defrost, it blows to the floor and face...WTF is going on?

My assumption is when I replaced the mode actuator something is 180° backwards. Would it be the actuator itself or the door?

Did this happen before with your old controller?

Maybe the wrong controller? May need to be reprogrammed for your vehicle.

No. But something in it went bad polarity wise, hence the replacement.

It's for an 03 + 04, mine's an 02...do you think it would need to be programmed?

Probably. Later years had the A/C indicator backwards (snowflake instead of 'A/C off' ). Or it's from an EXT. If you know somebody with a Tech 2 and Tis2000, it's easy.

Sweet! Thanks mate. I'll give my auto electrician a shout, I think he has one.
