Chevy 98, 1500 work truck series, 4.3 liter, 4X4
1. Vehicle starts fine
2. Once shifted in drive the vehicle accelerates fine for the first few hundred yard then begins to stall, then the engines turns back on
3. At the same instance the Dash cluster begins to go crazy like its resetting itself
4. When shifting it to 4 wheel drive the vehicle dose not want to keep running
5. when put back into 2 wheel the vehicle will start and idle fine
6. I have observed that this issue twice but, the vehicle happened to drive fine after a few starts.
7. No check engine light or service engine light
8. Note when gage cluster goes hay wire the ABS, P brake light, seat belt, and a few other light come on as well.
I looked at a lot of you tube videos and most I have see talked about a start switch malfunction, the Throttle position sensor, the MAP sensor and the EGR.
I will be posting the codes once I pull them if any show.
