4.2 motor swap

Swapped my 07 4.2 blown up with an 03 4.2. Cranks but no spark no start please help

I was incorrect with my info.. See below.

If memory serves, 07 is interchangeable with 07, 08, and 09 only.

I think 07 is not when the 58x started. Fairly certain the 07 is OK to swap in the 03. Of course there will be some things needing to be swapped but I think it can be made to work.

Tell us all the gory details. What stuff did you swap over? what PCM? And so on and so on.

What have you tested so far?

What lights up in the instrument panel and when?

07 is compatible. 08-09 are the ones with 58x. The only thing different is the coolant sensor, which was relocated from above the thermostat to the right side of the head on 06+

You'll have to check for power , ground and signal to the ignition coils. Wiring may have changed from 03 to 07. You did retain the coils from the 03? The 07 coils won't fit in the 03 valve cover.
