Does 2008 4x4 TB differential fluid (front and rear) change need a bottle of the limited slip additive?

I plan on using the ACDelco fluid, so not sure if that includes the friction modifier

thanks!

Nope. Don't need it, even for the G80.

Nope, they aren't limited slip diffs.

Would using Mobil 1 75w90 be just as good to use? Will it hurt anything because it has friction modifier in it when I do not need it?

Would it be best to stick with the delco stuff?

If it has the friction modifier, it won't bother anything. Any synthetic 75w90 will work.

Really any half decent gear oil of the right viscosity is fine. I don't know of anyone who has had premature failure of any differentials by using one brand of gear oil over another.

I had Valvoline in mine because it was on sale.
