I changed the trans fluid and overfilled it and must have burned a fuse because after I changed the fluid I drove it for a little and the code po753 came on and checked the fluid level and it was way over the markings on the dipstick. After I right this thread I will drain some of the trans fluid to get it to the right level. Is there a way I can fix the code myself, maybe change a fuse or should I let a professional fix it?

A bit of Google foo found this:

Common Problems That Trigger the P0753 Code

  • Defective Shift Solenoid
  • Defective Shift Solenoid wiring or connector
  • Defective Valve Body
  • Dirty transmission fluid that restricts the hydraulic passages

I doubt overfilling would cause this but try it draining some anyway. Check the wiring and connector as well as the fuses. You might have to drop the pan and check the wiring. Maybe you disturbed the wires, pinched a wire in there or accidentally disconnected a solenoid.
