my 2002 silverado battery will drain in 3 or 4 days of no use depending on temp. have traced it to 4x4 system, if i remove 30 amp fuse for 4x4 have zero draw. 4x4 works ok as far as I can tell. I have unplugged the actuaters at front axle & transfer case & still has draw, have looked at 4x4 selector switch and looks ok. have seen where switches crack but on one every talks about batt draw when switch fails. has any one head off this issue. I asked local service manager at gm shop and started to say would have check elect system, thought would be a seat switch issue, I DIDN'T THINK HE KNEW MUCH SO DIDN'T WANTTO TAKE THERE AT $55 HOUR. looking for ideas

I think it could be the transfer case control module. However, I don't know where it would be mounted in your truck. Most are mounted on, or near, the glove box area of the firewall/pillar/foot-well. Let me see if I can find out.
