03 5.3 vs 05 6.0

i have an 03 suburban with a 5.3 that i am parting out, and am looking at an 05 sierra 2500hd. The sierra has a knock and the suburban only has 75k miles on it...so i'm thinking of dropping the 5.3 in the sierra while i (hopefully) rebuild the 6.0. are there any differences i should be aware of or watch for? ideally, i'd like to just take the entire thing and pop it over...the 5.3 is 100% complete top to bottom front to back, accessories and all. i know the computer will need some tuning...just not sure if they changed sensors or if they changed the number of teeth on the reluctor wheel etc (although i'm pretty sure reluctor wheel changed in 06, i could be wrong)

You should be able to swap. Sensors/accessories should be the same up to 06. Reluctor wheel changed in 07 for NBS. You should have a 4L80E in the 2500 so you'll need to swap the flex plate over to the 5.3 as the 6.0 has 6 bolts bolting to the torque convertor... the 5.3 has 3.
